Structural Polymer Fibers for Concrete Reinforcement
BAUTECH BAUMEX SMART 3D
BAUTECH BAUMEX SMART 3D is an innovative synthetic fiber made from a polymer material with enhanced strength and resistance parameters. Serving as the primary structural reinforcement, it replaces traditional mesh reinforcement and steel fibers, and strengthens the concrete structure.
This fiber provides top-level reinforcement for concrete and is recommended for projects subjected to extreme loads. The fiber, created with unique BAUTECH BAUMEX technology, ensures 100% effectiveness in concrete reinforcement.
Multi-directional and Even Concrete Reinforcement
The unique shape combined with the SMART 3D coating ensures excellent spatial distribution of fibers within the concrete and their effective anchoring. The structural polymer macrofibers create a powerful reinforcing structure that acts multi-directionally and evenly on the concrete mix.
Product Features
- Excellent anchoring of fibers in concrete matrices thanks to the unique and innovative fiber construction
- Double action - ensuring the load-bearing capacity of the structure and protection against the formation of cracks
- Very high tensile strength and stiffness combined with lightness and ductility make BAUTECH BAUMEX fibers extremely effective
- Thanks to the ease of distribution, they eliminate the formation of so-called "hedgehogs" and ensure a uniform, three-dimensional structure
- Fiber properties remain unchanged even under adverse weather conditions
- Very high cost-effectiveness due to the possibility of reducing the thickness of the concrete slab, low dosage and low cost of incorporation, transportation and storage
- Very high chemical resistance of fibers to oxidation and corrosion caused by chlorides, sulfates, mold, rust, etc., especially in aggressive environments caused by proximity to seawater, influences of large industrial atmosphere.
- They do not cause magnetic interference, making them particularly useful, for example, in structures related to hospital construction or warehouses with automatic storage of goods.
Application
- For the production of composite concretes
- For industrial floor reinforcement
- For the reinforcement of external concrete pavements such as: storage and container yards, parking lots, loading zones, landfills and waste dryers, concrete roads
- Hybrid reinforcement and shrinkage-reducing additive for structural concrete
- For the reinforcement of non-structural elements such as: topping concrete, prefabricated slabs, substructures, etc.,
- It replaces traditional reinforcement with steel fibers and meshes
- Added to the concrete mix, they serve as reinforcement reducing plastic shrinkage and limiting the formation of shrinkage cracks in hardened concrete
- For use in concrete mixtures for sprayed concrete, screeds and mortars
- For the reinforcement of precast concrete elements, decorative concrete products, and small garden architecture, tunnel lining segments, oil tanks, septic tanks, well rings, etc.,
